When you attack them or successfully defend, their guard will be weakened until their guard is lowered. Then the enemy can be killed in a single move. However if the enemy lands a successful attack on you, they will recover some of their guard. Press Defend before an enemy attacks you to block it. Player will die in 3 hits, however if you can avoid getting hit while the screen flashes red to recover. Focus attacks act as heavy attacks, they deal more damage to an enemy guard. If an enemy has a broken hard, you will automatically perform a parry counter attack if you defend their attacks. Defeated enemies have a 90% chance of dropping a firefly. You can have up to 3 fireflies following you around. Certain abilities will cost a certain amount of fireflies.
