Countdown is an arcade-style space shoot-’em-up featuring a tight 30-second timer. The player has to destroy three crystals within the time limit, but must dodge enemies to do so. The player has infinite retries, using the knowledge they gained to complete their task within the time limit.
The visual style is futuristic and colorful, calling to mind classic arcade games of the mid and late ‘80s.
